Overview

Maison Square was commissioned to design the debut studio for a designer, a premium Indian ethnic wear label by designer Ishita Raj.
Located in Delhi, the studio needed to reflect the brand’s identity elegant, youthful, and rooted in Indian aesthetics with a modern twist.
The goal was to create a boutique that felt personal yet premium,
while functioning efficiently as both a display space and a client consultation zone.

Interior Design for Designer Boutique Studio - Delhi

Project Type: Interior Design for Designer Boutique Studio
Size: 900 sq. ft.
Client: Ms. Ishita Raj
Location: Delhi
Style: Modern Ethnic Fusion with Soft Luxe Detailing

The Challenge

The studio space was narrow and linear, with limited natural light and low ceiling height. The client needed a design that maximized product visibility, created an inviting flow, and allowed for display, trial, consultation, and storage, all within a limited footprint.

Modern retail clothing display area featuring three gold-accented hanging racks with coordinated garments arranged by color in shades of white, pink, lavender, and red. The space has light beige walls, decorative shelves with vases and flowers above the racks, wood flooring, a green plant wall on the left, and neatly placed shoes and products below the racks.
Elegant clothing display featuring a gold metal rack with a collection of coordinated women’s outfits in shades of blush pink, cream, and lavender. The display includes blazers, dresses, and shorts styled on hangers and a mannequin, set against a light beige wall with warm, decorative lighting and minimal dried pampas grass décor.

Our Approach

  • Designed an arched entry frame and soft lighting to create a welcoming first impression
  • Used pastel-toned walls with brushed gold accents for a delicate luxury feel
  • Integrated open hanging racks and floating shelves to display collections without clutter
  • Added a dedicated trial zone with floor-length mirrors, warm spotlights, and cushioned seating
  • Included a compact yet chic cash & consultation desk near the back of the studio
  • Used veneered wall panels and textured wallpapers to bring warmth and richness

Key Highlights

  • Custom-designed jali panel partition separating the main display from the trial zone
  • Statement chandelier and fabric pendant lights to balance soft and focused lighting
  • Minimalist branding wall with logo signage in brushed brass
  • Coordinated upholstery and curtains to reflect the designer’s latest collection palette
  • Carefully placed accent decor pieces like brass vases and hand-carved busts to reflect craftsmanship

The Outcome

The final space is intimate, elegant, and Instagram-ready, perfectly aligned with Ishita Couture’s target clientele. The studio not only enhances the shopping experience but also serves as a branding tool that communicates quality, detail, and elegance.
